Found this over the weekend,... dig all your signals, it could be a bottle cap, pull tab or this...
Thanks for looking... HH and GL

Congrats on the first gold with the NOX. That Cartier probably paid for your detector already. HH

Congrats on the GOLD! Do you recall the TID, depth and how solid the signal was?
Just trying to educate myself.

Thanks,
Dan

Heck if I wanted to dig all signals I'd get a Tesoro :-).

Very nice, i came to the same conclusion about digging all signals, if you want to discriminate you still have that option, even with my tesoro, loco

TID was a 13 solid... It was about 8 inches deep.. smooth sounding target..

It seems nickels give a nice two bounce sound, pull tabs can be a 13.. while bottle caps can give a jumpy singnal 13, 16 or 19.

It depends on the sound of the target.. but if you do not dig it all you are going to lose out on a potential great target..
Persistence will pay off.. In the past I would pass on digging up certain targets but now I dig it all.... and did it pay to grid the the area!
Thanks for the comments and looking.. GL everyone..

Did you test this ?

No offense... but this ring is highly counterfeited and the fake is plated.

I did not test the ring, but considering the size, and weight (3.5grams), I am pretty confident its the real deal. Plus all the hallmarks, ie.. copyright (c), Cartier, the size, Au750 and SN.... Does anyone recommend a gold testing kit? or for that matter a diamond tester? Thank you in advance..
