Third killer day in a row. We returned to our amazing site today. 9 silver coins and some more coppers. This site has been absolutely incredible. My friend found the capped bust quarter, capped bust dime, seated half dime and a trime. I found the bust half dime, three trimes, and a seated half dime. Also found was a silver mechanical pen, a random 18th century knee buckle some brass thing with a fake gem and a few others odds and ends.

Wow! That's extremely fantastic! That location looks to be so productive!! A banner on that location for sure ;)
It's amazing to look at all the coins you've pulled out of there, especially the silvers!

I maintain that the most success in detecting will only come from a handful of sites, and yours is a great example of that. It’s obvious from the coinage that the person here had money, but items such as that jeweled buckle reaffirm that fact. Now that you found the more obvious targets, go for the lower ones. I’m willing to bet there gold!

What an AMAZING site. Very unusual to see that kind of silver to copper ratio and coin to button ratio. Must have been a place where money was exchanged on a regular basis. Would love to see close ups of the cleaned coins.

Holy Crap!. Tremendous bunch of finds. It simply doesn't get any better than finding so many old, old silvers and coppers. I tip my hat to you!

Yes, an extremely high ratio. Maybe a market or pub. Lots of trimes too which were originally minted to purchase stamps. Now with all that silver there must be gooold

The buckle was a random 18th century find. The jewel was from some piece of jewelry. I place it on the buckle for a better photo. Sorry for the confusion!

Holy crap!!!! That site is once in a life time, I am happy with just finding a few relics per hunt at a site, and maybe a coin once in a while. Your site is freaking phenomenal! If it is on public land I would hit that place as hard as I could before someone else finds it!

I'm just curious how many coins you have found at this place so far, each hunt produces more than what I find in a year lol!

That is quite a haul!
Super site, congrats!
The detail on those is really awesome.

I'm guessing the old version of a bed & breakfast, a store, maybe the old poker playing hide out.
What ever it was your hard work paid off.

So far, 15 silvers and about 30 coppers. We are going back tomorrow. Hopefully we will be adding to the list :)
