My son works construction and yesterday his job was to remove about 8 in. of dirt along the side of an old neighborhood market. The first scoop with the Bobcat he saw something shiny in the bucket. When he looked it was a 34 Merc. So he started looking through the dirt before he dumped it in the trailer. He found 79 coins without his MD. The dirt was hauled to another construction site where that evening He and I attacked it with our MD's. I found 75 more coins including 4 wheats. a 1912, 1951 ant 2 1948d's. He found 47 more coins inlcluding a 1919 Buffalo nickel and a 1919s wheat. This evening we went back at it by the time i got there he had allready found 36 coins. I quickly found a penny and my next signal found a 1944 Merc. after that it was all clad. between the 2 of us we found over 250 coins over the 2 evenings. About 5 hrs. total time hunting. I also found a cheap gold colored bracelet.
