Nice finds! I bet there is silver to be found! :icon_thumleft:

Low and slow and enjoy the experience. The silver can't hide forever!

Finding wheats is a sign there's silver to be found and signals were missed. Although, I've had a couple spots produce a couple dozen wheaties and not one silver coin!

Where there are wheats, there should be silver. Could it have been cherry picked? Sure, but usually that means someone blasted through it for the easy picks. Low and Slow with the AT. If I'm finding wheats, it's hard to give up on a site! Go get um'.

Its always hard to tell, as every yard is different. I just hunted a yard 2 weeks ago, of a home that was built in 1880. I only found 4 Wheats, a 28, 44,44, and 46. I do know there are a few other hobbyists that live in this particular town. Did they hit the yard and "cherry pick" it ? Did they miss the Wheats ? Did they hunt the yard at all ? Sometimes people just did not have much to drop and lose, so there wont be much there to begin with. All I do know, is that I spent 4 hours in this yard, moving slowly and hitting it from different directions, and I just didnt find items I thought that I would for a home that old. Sometimes it just happens.

Found 28 wheats, 4 silver dimes, a silver quarter, and only ONE clad penny on a corner lot in Milwaukee over a summer. The lot was scraped and piled in the rear. Found a '22 Buff in that pile. I posted the finds here years ago. Kinnikinnic and Howard. SW corner. ╦╦Ç

Not so! Only means it may have been detected by people that did not detect RIGHT THERE or were not good at the game! ╦╦Ç
