I got up at 0530 and was a streetear in old downtown. I was thinking I'll hunt before contruction guys show up to work , I arrived at 0640 and to my surprise contruction guys were there already, so plan 2 , I decided to try other streetearout down the street but had luck . Well let go to my premission I've hunting for last couple times . I passed the the 1 st street tearout ans saw contruction guys were at far end of the street tearout so heck with it I'm hunt the street glad did. My first signal was a ukn cooper coin , which turn out to be a Mexican 1/4 reale no date , those are my LG cents here in new Mexico, then come s a V nickle 1888, my second shield nickle 187?? Ever, then two I eagle buttons, Boot heel tap, minnie balls, muskets ball and a bonus find on my digger from my last hunt a silver heart pendant 20180721_084206.jpg 20180721_084209.jpg 20180719_090658.jpg 20180721_070136.jpg 20180721_070132.jpg 20180721_070234.jpg 20180721_070633.jpg 20180721_070930.jpg 20180721_070127.jpg 20180721_075526.jpg 20180721_080247.jpg 20180721_075526.jpg 20180721_071843.jpg 20180721_080306.jpg 20180721_084130.jpg 20180721_173154.jpg 20180721_173205.jpg 20180721_173214.jpg 20180721_173346.jpg 20180721_173354.jpg

Great opportunity for some nice finds, and all in 100 degrees in the shade. Although, I did hear of some folks from Texas going over to New Mexico to cool off. :D

What a amazing hunt!!! That’s the type of situation where time is off the essence. I’d be there at night before it’s all gone. Congratulations on the epic hunt jim
