Found a new spot today....I assume it's a house, mainly because I found the door lock and the door knob. Strangely there was some copper nuggets in the area so the house might just be built near some Copper Culture workings.

The capped bust dime is in pretty sad shape. The front is pretty wiped but you can make out the eagle/shield thing on the back. This is my oldest silver coin.

Well done man. I still can’t find a draped or capped silver. I’d be psyched with one that was wiped clean if I could ID the damn thing.

Your copper "nuggets" might be from a copper roof or flashing on a house that burned down.

No I don't think so...my area is a known Old Copper Culture area...if you check back on some of my posts I've found some pretty cool copper artifacts in the area.
