I had some extra time after work tonight so I headed over to the church I have permission to dig on so far it’s had a couple neat finds some Indian head pennys a shoe buckle a couple of wheats. Well nothing could of prepared me for what I was in for the front of the church has a small triangle patch of lawn and that’s where I found the other finds I posted and I went threw already so I decided to do the right side of the church well needless to say the hits started coming in pretty steady it was wheatie after wheatie for about an hour ended up with ten of them dates where 1958 1944 1942 1910 1915 1925 1934 a couple I need to clean up to see the dates I was in heaven I love finding coins my next signal was a 1864 Indian head that is in pretty good shape so again very happy digging coins my next signal was odd it was jumping around but three constant numbers it was a solid 35 a weak 79 and a solid 55 and showing about 6 inches I dig it and find an old pocket knife so not a coin but a neat find then I go on to my next hit a very strong and solid 80 8 inches down I find my second but best skeleton key I’ve ever found my blood starts pumping cause I love this I’m having such a good time I’m actually talking to myself by this time big smile on my face then it starts raining I don’t care at all I keep right on going my next is some sort of cap that has I.R.COMB C.O. Pat. Oct 25 1886 on it I found out it means Indian rubber company they made lice combs, needles during the civil war and later rubber buttons they then became Goodyear rubber company my next hit was two oxen shoes in the same hole I’ve found them before but never both in one hole ox have a split hoove so two half shoes per hoove my next hit was some sort of large button that has ornat design that looks like a sun my next couple hits were junk some nails and other pieces of iron so I was thinking about calling it until I get a solid 92 at 10 plus inches so I dig my plug deep flip it and right there in the hole my very first mercury dime 1920 I jumped off the ground in absolute excitement and immediately checked the hole and the plug plus six ft around it for more but no luck still reeling from excitement I hit a target that was in the pull tab range I dig down six inches and bam my very first but crusty buffalo nickel !!!!!! Now there no way I’m calling it a night I’m way to excited I continue on and dig a few other things I don’t know what some of it is the I get this crazy signal around 96 which means silver but as I use my pin pointer mode on my at pro it seems large so I make my hole big and about 8 inches deep and it’s like heaven when I flip it silver everywhere quarters dimes nickels dating from 40s to sixties my blood is pumping now I check the hole and plug repeatedly until it’s quiet . So I continue on finding a small box with a four leaf clover on the top nothing inside then I find three belt buckle and finally a gold plated John Dean button from London by this time it’s getting dark and I have no light so I call it I will be back there tomorrow no doubt!!!!!!! Thanks for looking and have fun out there!!!!!! 8D80FEB7-C331-4C30-9434-D847CCFBDA04.jpeg 3547AA6C-3757-40D6-9514-9DEC92EAB733.jpeg BD1FC698-A00B-4B5C-A777-B4936D423267.jpeg 1C133CF2-9F2D-4DEF-BF41-DA576DB700AA.jpeg 2EE28208-F24E-42DB-A0EA-8F835EAD3162.jpeg 8A90218C-3F6A-4A89-8F87-F441D79EEFF5.jpeg 494EC069-B93B-4024-9A6B-A65526B00649.jpeg DEB5CEDB-73A1-42BB-AAF3-F8B7B45441BF.jpeg 22F57A1E-D0D5-407A-90F3-E0FD746C28C2.jpeg 55544A5A-2F5F-4630-9F95-701F9E84A502.jpeg D2B2DDEC-557A-4D21-852A-D7D1148CAA2A.jpeg 837CFDF5-A93C-4EEC-9ED2-CA2929417182.jpeg
