Found a few Cub Scouts neckerchief slides, but never one of these (until yesterday):

It's small and sterling, and some kid back in the 70's must've been bummed about losing it on the schoolyard. But hey, it sure brings back memories of that Pinewood Derby!

Metal Detecting IS nostalgia. Plain and simple. :icon_thumright:

Yes, among the peace and serenity we get from detecting, nostalgia is another added bonus..many times, good childhood memories have been brought to light after finding a marble or a Hot Wheels car. Good stuff, thx for sharing, Ddf.

Nah, just says 'STERLING' inside with a little maker's mark. This ring seems common, although vintage. They're all over Ebay.
