I found 2 sterling silver rings at one tot lot!!! These are my first ever real rings! This one I thought was fake because of the cheap jewel, but then I cleaned it and saw that it had a hard to see 925 on it. I hope to find better quality silver and find my first gold soon. :)

Nice! Seeing a ring in the hole or pulling that clod of mud out with shiny inside always gets the juices flowing...I can be dead tired and a find like that will energize me for a few more hours. Good luck on your quest for gold...I found my one and only little 18k beauty on one of those "dig every signal" days...Congrats on your silver...Ddf

Yah but on the tip of the heart it's not shimmery... it looks like it got worn off there or something. I believe the stone is a fake but who knows.

Hard to tell from just the pic - but I would certainly expect moonstone to wear fairly readily. On the hardness scale it's at 6 - not the best choice for a ring stone ( better as earrings or pendants)
