WEEKEND REPORT: OPENING DAY METAL DETECTING - WE NEED HELP TO ID AN OLD RELIC/COIN.

Greetings Treasure Hunters!

This weeks hunt involved both digging AND picking... Our permission was a construction site that had much of the original yard scraped off. This exposed 1800's silver coinage and also vintage marbles, toys and other cool relics. We also located a very old large copper coin, and need help identifying it. Enjoy!

Chinese cash coin?

ecmjamsit got it, the coin is some denomination of "Republic of China" cash (50 or 100 it looks like), i think from the early 1920s and also think they were produced by several mints. I have a pile of 10 and 20 cash examples but that is a beast, cool find!
