ID:	1630624 On Sunday Sue and I hunted a soccer field in a small Connecticut town. Finds were plentiful but not old. Total for the three hour hunt was 101 coins worth $21.74 and two small sterling silver rings. We'll definitely go back there again to hunt the parts of the field we didn't hunt this time.

We weren't cherry picking at all. We always have our detectors set to allow nickel signals in. Dug a lot of tabs though...………..

The nickel signals were pulltabs……...no gold and no nickels. We don't cherry pick, we take what we get.

Ok. Not trying to be negative or anything. That's a nice average on the larger coins over pennies and dimes for sure. Grats!
    Still....bet there's gold out there!
