Clean it in lemon juice & post again.

Clean it with lemon juice and a soft brush? Or just have it laying in the lemon juice for a while?

Clean it with lemon juice and a soft brush? Or just have it laying in the lemon juice for a while?
Yeap 5 minutes at a time (until happy), use a nail brush/tooth brush, & rinse well.

Now we know its British Royal Navy, early 19th C, or a bit earlier!

Ive seen germans exactly alike also. Could you post a link or a picture?

Cant clean it any more up but i can say some letters on it. Something with «war» «d •»
Hard to tell the rest :-/

A4314A9C-9803-462D-8062-019F953CD632.jpeg I believe that is warranted. Now under that it might say how many years it’s warranted for which will tell you how many layers of gold plate was on it.
