I found this beside an old house that burned in the 1940's. I'd love to know the story. IMG_20180922_152826503.jpg

That is a way cool buckle...What did that thing ring up as on your VDI?

I've got a Garrett Ace 250. It kept flashing from $.01 to $.10.

I see st Louis, why cardinals?

As a lifelong Cardinals fan I never thought anything else. I'm a glass half full guy I guess.

The buckle may commemorate a world series win.
They won the WORLD SERIES in 1942, 44, & 46. They did win 3 championship titles prior to the 40's, but I'm guessing that it belonged to an occupant of the house that you searched. Purely speculation.
Congratulations on your find.
