Spent two day at my local beach. Haven't been down there since last march right after the big nor'easter when I pulled 17 silver coins. This beach is a little local beach thats on the sound and has had a lot of activity since the 1870's, big steam boat piers and swimming. So I went down there yesterday and and today. Yesterday there was a nice long cut that was exposing smaller rocks that is usually covered by sand. I started getting a lot of good signals. Started digging old nickels and wheat cents. Then a few silver dimes and quarters. One a SLQ
There was another guy detecting out in the water and I said to myself he'll probably find some nice signet rings out there. No sooner than I said that to myself I get a signal and dig a old signet ring. My first gold signet, broken but hey I'll take it.
Dug a nice heavy silver ring with USA and a flag on it and part of a silver heart bracelet.
Went back today and in one night the cut was gone so I hunted where it was and little above it. About the third signal which was deep I pulled out the first 14K ring the first I have ever dug and it's a beautiful old vintage one too.
Found two more silver rings and a couple more silver quarters and dimes.
Two great days at the beach with two bucket listers A gold ring and a SLQ

Outstanding beach hunt. What do you do with the silver you find? Do you try to clean it with something?

Fabulous!

What A2 said! Man, this stuff tumbled along in the surf for years it looks. Especially the signet ring. You'd have to pan to find more of that. I'd venture to say you've had your cardio for this week!

Great work!
