Finally... some Yeller!

Be quite a while since I posted, been a slow detecting season for me this year, rainy, hot and humid when I had the time to go.. then couldn’t. Nothing out of the ordinary this year until today.

Man... am I glad I still dig up shot gun shell butt signals, out popped a 10k gold ladies ring today. A Sorority ring, Alfa-Si-Delta. Turns out it’s a Sorority established in 1895, I believe this ring is probably 1940’s to late 1960’s. I was pretty excited to see gold! I haven’t found a gold item since October last year.

It gets tiresome digging those shotgun head-stamps but every so often it pays off with a cool button or in this case gold !!
