I decided to dig the repeatable weird numbers at my latest cellar hole in the park woods. These were 4’s , 8’s, 10’s, and 15’s for the most part. Not the typical coin VDI’s on the Nox.

Cool 2 piece button right on the cellar edge.

Sash buckles, left one rang up low, must have some lead in it.

Yeah, looks like a sword handle.

Lead cap rang up low.

Other bits and pieces.

Good luck out there!

Nice finds! :occasion14:

IMHO: When relic hunting you dig everything, well at least I do, you never know! :icon_thumleft:

Thx. I wish I had the time to dig it all. You’re correct, you never know. I was digging all targets that rang solid with iron on, passed on the scratchy signals. Man there are layers of bullets, shot gun ends, shell casings and the worst... tiny lead 22 bullets at this site. But may get to dig the scratchy signals (usually rusty iron) as well since this hole is very accessible.

Nice finds, Thad! Have you tried the 40 Khz iron check yet? Been working for me in iron except for on bigger flat wrap around items.

Nice finds. I find no weird VDI's when looking for relics at old places though. It always seems like targets are all over the place. It is like a box of chocolates, You never know what you are gonna get :D

Thx John. Clicking to a different frequency did not work for me, but your recommendation of using the digger to break the iron halo has been helpful.

Henderson was a rare motorcycle manufacturer too, but this looks too heavy, better suited as an ornament for a safe or stove like you said. I wanna know about that sword handle!
