I’ve been relic hunting for over 40 years and found many Union plates, but my CS bucket list buckle has alway eluded me. Well not today! Plow struck, but golden to me....

Thank you JBnNC, you’re absolutely right, I was stunned to see it come out of the ground. I was an amazing feeling for sure.

Congratulations on an excellent find. It took me 45 years to find a confederate button, I don't think I will live long enough to find a buckle!

I’ve found a few confederate buttons, but finding the buckle tongue was amazing! I hope you find your Confederate buckle tomorrow. Now I need to find the matching wreath....

Congrats on an excellent find. Plow struck or not, at least its still in good enough shape to display, and its yours ! If everything came out of the ground in mint condition, we would just go to the store and buy it rather than dig it, and that would not be fun !
