In the middle of the woods.

1910 Wheatie and a tiny flat button. Not much, but when your looking for a previously unknown home site in no mans land it means a lot. Click image for larger version.

Thanks guys. The spot is in a 15 year cut over thats been reseeded with pine right next to a swamp. I finally stumbled upon it using the all metal mode and listening for the iron. The spot lit up with targets of every number. I only had time to dig a few holes but at least I know where to go. After digging an 8 reale cob on the property several years ago I thought there just had to be more to uncover. And the adventure continues. I am hereby closing deer hunting in that area until further notice.
