Today I tried a bit of divide & conquer strategy with Cru'dad gridding the known area to see how much was still left & me trying a couple of neighbouring fields & the edges of the known area. The 2 fields I tried where dud, but on the far side of Brooch Field by a gap to another known site, I did manage 3 scrappies. However, I spent most of the 6 hours 15 minutes gridding with Cru'dad & we did better than expected;

26 Scrappies
3 Roman Fibula (Brooch field still delivering!)
Ancient Bronze Bead
Frag of Roman Ring
Celtic Bronze Unit (Coin)
Roman Furniture Finial
Hammered Half Groat of James I 1625 (Been awhile, it's our first Oct one!)8-)

53 Total (so not a bad guess, although doesn't include any Land-Mag & the odd visitor has had on top of that, so maybe 60ish:thumbsup:)
