Went out with the fellas to a site that I had mapped out in the middle of nowhere. Was a really good day for me.
Recovered a 1785 Nova Constellatio Crosby 3-B variety Copper Pointed Rays Large US
Also got a 1788 Vermont copper Ryder-29 variety out of the same hole.
My first colonial copper coin spill! 20181108_162830.jpg 20181108_173245.jpg 20181108_173404.jpg 20181109_095458.png 20181109_095551.png

Easily one of the nicest Nova's I've ever seen dug. That VT looks sharp too. Congrats!

Absolutely amazing rare finds and Banner worthy in my opinion, so I voted Banner for the finds. You should post pics of both the Obverse and Reverse of the Vermont Copper along side of the Nova Constellatio.

I haven't seen a Nova Constellatio dug in person but that is one of the best I've seen! Such a nice coin! Congrats from another Mass seeker of Treasure!
