When I first joined Tnet I made a commitment to post every hunt, however indifferent. Sometimes we have posted a double day, but you get the idea; A realistic picture of our hunts & not just the best stuff.
Dad & I were doing so well on Copse Field, even though our scouting produced nothing, so I wanted to finish the best area. Land-Mag helped me with that objective & this site is complete for now. Land-mag won the day with 6 scrappies, pretty good for only 2 hours & a new machine.:icon_thumright:

I just managed 1 Roman Minim & a Geo Halfpenny - So you can see in the picture the size difference.
1 Button & a Roman Lead Weight.

My worst result this year, but I'm pleased we have done the site & can move on to the next.

We all know this happens. I like that you take the time to post even when a day was semi productive. At least your Minim is better than the one i got today. :occasion14:

The coins on your side of the pond are way older than ours! So your hum drum finds are awesome to us! Keep digging and swinging..... and posting! :icon_thumleft:

We all have days like this.
Good luck on the new fields, I'm sure you'll post something great before the end of the year.

As you know Cru, sometimes we come home with an empty pouch when it comes to these older sites. :icon_scratch:
The way I look at it is... a couple of hours in the woods or on the fields is always better then spending 5 minutes talking to my wife. :laughing9:
