Hey Joey....Nice Buck! Funny thing is I found one too a while back and it was a '23 Peace too. Sweet coin to hold isn't it? Nice and heavy!!! Many more pal~CO2 ;)

I've gotta agree with FTD on this one,

silver dollars are an UNcommon find, many detectorist never find one in their life time,

I've got 2 decades of hunting in and I have'nt found 1 yet :(

That's a nice way to find your first silver. I have found only one morgan and one peace in my life. It is an excitement when one of those huge things pops up out of the ground. When you get it in your hand you have to think man how did someone even lose this coin. There so big. But the thing is. Is back in the day the lawns were so grown in that if it fell out of your pocket you my as well forget about it.

Congrats on that coin. Wish you luck finding the next one. I would say that is better than finding 20 silver dimes. So it may have took you awile to hit silver but you got the big one. Hope it was worth the wait for ya.
