Hey folks,

Got out for a little evening hunt to a spot I've been eyeing for a while. Glad I did, it ended up being fun and productive. I swear though, someone is going to call the cops on me for detecting with a headlamp soon. I can see the call now "there's a knife wielding maniac stabbing the ground in my neighborhood." Unfortunately with these short winter days, it's one of the only ways I can get out.

I digress, here are today's keepers:

The tally:
-1947-S Rosie
-1906 Mexican 1 Centavo
-2 KG VI Canadian Pennies
-2 Wheats
-2 Seattle Transit Tokens
-2 Washington Tax Tokens

The Mexican coin rang up really funny. I think it was a 12-27 at 3 inches, almost always a pull tab. At the right sites I get in the mood to dig those signals because I've found interesting items, even gold in that range.

Well folks, good luck out there and happy hunting!

Good variety, and silver.... I have been silver dry for almost a week... glad your still finding some.

Only a week? Your doing better than I am. Anyway, I'd call that a really good day Washingtonian.

A very productive hunt, and your hunting using a headlamp is another way to have people question your activity.

Maniac? Maybe, we are all in that class... I’ve had the cops pull in a few times when night hunting with a headlamp. When I told them I was just metal detecting they asked if I found anything good and let me go back at it. Congrats on your finds and another silver for your tally.

Nice hunt. I always like those tokens. They are a part of history.
