Although I've been detecting off and on for over 30 years. (more off than on), I've never participated in a planted hunt. Our detecting club (mwas.org) has an annual one each september. This past weekend was it. All the coins in the pic were dug in two 45 minute hunt sessions. The $10 gold and the 83CC Morgan, along with all the other goodies, were won with dug tokens, or in raffles. A banner day for me..........

Thanks for lookin,
Jules

Around 35. Our club really out-does itself for our annual hunt. Over 2000 seeded coins and tokens.

Jules, bet you don't wait as long to join in the fun again! Club Hunts are always lots of fun. Get to see old friends and catch up on tall tails and pick up some nice wilver coins, to boot. Nice $10 gold coin you won. I'll bet you don't forget that very soon. HH my friend

Jules, you did great! I hope you had a great time and will join in next year. I have been to lots of open hunts and they are all good in their own way but a club hunt where you know everyone and feel comfortable sharring your time and stories is so much more fun.
