good start I always like old jar lids especially Mason ones My grand dad always said our family made so much white whiskey They just had to make jars to put it in

Yeah those lids do sound so good! I just got an AT Pro and am trying to figure it out. So far my biggest thing is PPing. Also, have a lot of Aluminum wire in my yard and the AT says it is at 10'' deep. So I dig this deep hole only to find out it was just about on the surface. 70s and 80s but kind of choppy. Beer tabs are the other one that has thrown me but I think I have them figured out. So you can imagine my excitement when the mason jar lid lit up the Pro!!

I used to saved those zinc lids to use for reverse electroplating rusty iron artifacts like artillery shells when I did relic hunting. Add lye to the zinc in water with the rusty iron...

Hey so I was able to search near my sisters house in Fla. And hit a jackpot of sorts! All modern but nice to find coins instead of lids! 1 quarter, 2 pennies and a dime. And an aluminum ring from something. 20181119_165719.jpg
