Today I decided not to let a 29 degrees afternoon go to waste. I returned to Seldom Seen to find another seldom seen coin. In a area covered in dormant poison ivy and jagged brush likely with ticks (I use repellent) I found my first Seated Dime. You should've seen how many tiny thorns were stuck in my coat. The effort paid off. I dont typically clean my silvers other than a rinse of water. I'll be going back next week.

Overall highlights also include a crotel bell and 1865 Indian.

As always, thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Congrats on your first Seated Dime M H. I can remember finding my first one like it was yesterday, and it's been 20 years already.

This one wasn't deep either! About 2 inches down. This area has old roads/trails and hillsides so I'll be hitting it over this winter. It's the only time of year this area can be hit with some ease. Half dime is next on my list.

Awesome! I've found three so far and none of them even approach the condition of yours, all worn nearly smooth.

Congrats on your first Seated Louis. They are hard to find, at least for me. I've only found 3 myself.
