Hello folks I hunt old Fort Hood housing and during one of my hunts I recovered a formula one kind of hot wheel but a design that I have never seen before like more effort went into its construction and not to mention it built much more heavy than any hot wheel. What is it ?

It looks like it's made out of lead and a steel plate maybe it was some kind of magnet racer or slot racer?

That's a sweet race car, I like finding them too. Yours is definitely different than any I found.

Welcome Ringhunter and congrats,

I think formula 1! Four cylinder Offenhauser, front mounted! Those were the days when the driver's performance was more critical than
the engine's performance. No fuel rationing, just guts!

Best wishes and good luck!
