Plan B - Skunked...

Today was meant to be a short hunt 2 hrs 15 minutes helping the Archies on our private dig. Lovely day - No-one there. Maybe Land-Mag can explain where they were?
So without them it was pointless me helping, so we came up with a Plan B. Scout out 2 fields next to the Groat field & if they failed, which they did I fell back to the Groat area. Where I also got no recordables (items we GPS), so other than finding out where not to waste our time in the future it was a bust.

Not that I'm aware of, this was probably for a target in a field close to houses. (It will become a gridding flag)

UPDATE:
Land-mag tells me that 1 archie was there today, so he must have been on a late lunch when we arrived?

There has been 1 scrappy found in the upper layer of the ditch feature in the North side of the trench. Cru'dad will ID later, as it sound pretty far gone. Plus a complete modern soda bottle. Its odd how mixed up this trench is!
