My uncle’s house was built in 1778 and I find a lot of random pieces of iron there. This was just a blob of iron when I pulled it out of the ground. When I got home and emptied my bag I left it outside. I was looking at it today and noticed a face looking back at me. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1544974023.575630.jpg

Maybe during the war of 1812. Massachusetts didn’t want to fight the British again.
