What do you do on December 31st in western ma with no snow and no frost? Lol.
Headed out with my brother and a friend to check out an area where my brother found a 1817 LC. Not much happening so I ended up hiking over to a picnic area that’s been hammered over the years. There’s a few areas that are loaded with trash and I wanted to mess around with the F75. Pretty happy with the machine and it’s performance sorting through the junk. Last thing I dug was the quarter, not a bad way to end out the year.

10 years ago I avoided trashy ground because I didn’t understand or trust my machine,I was new at this. Now,it’s what I gravitate to,and many hunters do the same. Today’s technology simply has progressed to the point at which coins can be found in very difficult conditions like that, whereas the machines of yesteryear had trouble...in general. I love the challenge of hunting in trash, and also know that if it’s there and I’m diligent with technique,I’ll find it.
Well done finding those, that’s a nice way to put this year to bed!

Nice work bro! Joe and I stayed over near the far side of the pond and then we stopped in some woods up the road. No silver, I'm glad you scored a nice trashy haul. Great way to close out the year!

Date on the SLQ?

I'd say that's a pretty good way to end the year. Searching trashy area's, that no one else want's to mess with, is always a good way to pick up coins

You crazy east coasters! Your 1800s site doesn't pan out so you settle for an SLQ and a couple silver dimes like the rest of us chum haha. Nice finds and well done!
