The dig before the storm!

Yesterday it rained all morning, so I didn’t get out until 1:00. By 2:45 I was running back to the truck and just got back in when the sky opened up with rain, hail, thunder and lightning. Several miles south of me a tornado formed and touched down, but I don’t believe it did any damage.

Today I woke up to snow flurries and below freezing temps,with 15 mph winds...not a good detecting day. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow.

In the meantime, here’s what I managed to dig yesterday before the storm blew in and chased me home.
