Hunting some black sand areas late yesterday I noticed this guy just partially exposed.
First Gold for '19 and I didn't even have to dig for it!
14k a little shy of 7g........

Good Luck Out There

I've only been able to do that one time myself. I was walking in a creek that had a small gravel bar and sitting on top and in plain view was men's gold band waiting there. Those sure can make your day. Nice find!

Hey Brendan,

Thanks for your response.

I looked at a few of your previous posts and noted you've got some new beach hunting gear.
That is where you will find your first gold ring, at the beach.

Here's a couple of pics of my first gold ring just for inspiration.
It would be fun to see how many others have saved their first found gold ring.

Good luck to you I'm sure you'll find one :happysmiley:

Rich that's a beauty of a ring man your eyes must of popped out of your sockets when you found that one!:o

Looks like the Hindu deity "Ganesha" on the front of the ring :icon_thumright:

Thanks Dave I think you're right. You know your stuff.
I've wondered since I found this ring what it's origin might be.
It does look like Ganesha's elephant head :)
