Eyeballed A Gold Ring In The Black Sand....

Hunting some black sand areas late yesterday I noticed this guy just partially exposed.
First Gold for '19 and I didn't even have to dig for it!
14k a little shy of 7g........

I've only been able to do that one time myself. I was walking in a creek that had a small gravel bar and sitting on top and in plain view was men's gold band waiting there. Those sure can make your day. Nice find!

I looked at a few of your previous posts and noted you've got some new beach hunting gear.
That is where you will find your first gold ring, at the beach.

Here's a couple of pics of my first gold ring just for inspiration.
It would be fun to see how many others have saved their first found gold ring.

I've wondered since I found this ring what it's origin might be.
It does look like Ganesha's elephant head
