Since they've been using that four letter word for our weekend. I decided to get my "fix" today. I only had an hour though. So...knowing full well that this might very well be a "skunking". I decided on a place where I could at least get myself a "recharge". I chose my most favorite place to walk....the mansion.

Many here know of my many, many walks on my mansion's grounds. Haven't been there in a long while! It is a VERY rare thing for *any* coin of any age to appear here anymore. But it is just sooooooo beautifully charming!!! Just looking up and seeing it makes me feel as though I'd been transported back to a simpler time.

Anyhoo...

In an hour, here? I did very, very well! Not only did I find a "coin" but also an old flat button! :icon_thumleft:

Oh yes, and the question?
Can anyone tell me what letters are on this piece?

Thanks ahead of time for any assistance and for peeking!

Here's more pics but I'm not trying to figure out the piece, per se. But, rather the initials. I didn't say what I thought for fear of muddying the waters. Could it be H P?

Nice! Congrats on getting that stroll in.
That is one nice decorative chunk of silver! i hope.
Mirror handle maybe? Or a case lid?
And an older button back.
Even nabbing a coin.

A fine walk at the mansion!

I guess Blingie was too into his beauty sleep to care.
Doubt Fishy can cart that away.

For those who see SLP...I can too. And it still could fit who I'm thinking it belonged to, and it is a historic figure. Still workin on it.
Thanks!!
