I got out this morning to my usual permissions and hit them hard for about 5 hours.
I had a great time!

My third target turned out to be my best dig of the day. A small coin spill next to the sidewalk with one dated buffalo nickel, (1923)
one V nickel (1908) and two early wheat back pennies (1915 and 1917-S)! I picked up a Jefferson nickel later in the day to finalize my first nickel Trifecta!

As for the Jeff? i don't even know what the date was and i don't care! its with my clad now waiting to be tumbled.

Overall, some clad a two piece button, 6 wheat's, my nickels and a lead seal..

The button has an anchor on it. No Idea of its age.

I won't post a picture of my trash....Lets just say, i dug way more trash than any sane person should dig!
HH everyone!

Can't ID the button but it looks late 19th C.

I disagree about digging trash & sanity. A knowledgeable sane person would did IT ALL.

Congrats on a great hunt. Awesome spill.
