My 1st coin!! 1900 Indian Head, buttons and an arrow head

Did a short impromptu hunt today on our hunting property in Southampton Co. VA today and had some pretty neat finds that I just had to share. Got my 1st coin!!! We will be going back on Sunday and will be hunting most of the day. We constantly find arrow heads but this was the first time metal detecting with my new detector and I must say I am happy with the results. My husband found all the buttons except the one with what looks like an Indians head on it and the Indian Head coin (those were my finds )

Great finds, but you're going about this the wrong way. Don't find all the good stuff on one hunt, you need to stretch it out a little.

I know right...that was only an, at the most, a 2 hour hunt. Was a crazy day. The first hour I was hitting duds then the last 30 min it just picked up. BTW...Thank you.

Oh My ! I have yet to find my first Indian Head , to find that as my first coin would have been amazing ! Very Nice .

Oh yes! For sure. Our cousin took us out one day just for something to do and we were hooked then. We started out arrow head hunting, then metal detecting, hen shark tooth hunting. We have lots of finds from that too on our first trip out. We love this stuff!
