A Bit of Austrian Silver In The Ozarks!

Well butter my buns and call me a "Vienna Sausage!" It was 25 degrees when I dared to go out digging in some local school lawns. The turf was frozen down 3-4 inches, which made my Lesche tool start to bow and groan every time I dug something. Weren't no competition out there though! It was a fun day. Found a couple of tokens, one was an omnipresent "Rat Regurgitation Palace" (Chuck E. Cheese,) and the other one was a President Abraham Lincoln commemorative. Also found a couple of bling rings, a buckle, and other "decroded" bits of jewelry. The star of the day, quite unexpected, was the vintage charm bracelet with all nine of the Austrian states' crests on it. All the crests are marked on the reverse, "JB 835" and the clasp loop is also marked "835." I learned a little about European silver jewelry researching this one. I will have a jeweler replace the missing lobster claw and Mrs. Sub has already claimed it...Happy Hunting and Cheers on a cold, winter day. Sub

Excellent Finds Sub!! That bracelet is awesome...Probably fairly rare in the states.

I can't believe you got out in this Missouri weather to detect! You are dedicated!

It's hard to even stand up outside as hard as the ice is here.
