Hello been really good outings my last several hunts merc dime, gold ring, silver necklace etc------------, TODAYS FINDS--, short hunt today, about 45 minutes, got out of my car turned the detector on as my 4year old son ran to the tot lot, first sig a great dollar reading but it was a old metal hose part looks like, next sig about 5 feet from my car a half dollar reading 4 inches deep, thought it was the same old junk, "nope" dug up what i thought was a dollar piece because so large looks bigger then most of those quarters i find, then rubbed some dirt off and seen a building and thought oh another token, then rubbed the other side clean and seen mr kennedy, it was a bicenntenial half dollar d 1976 my first half dollar. book value $1.50 in good shape, cool, this was about 5 min into the hunt 2nd dig, 42 hunts though to find my first half dollar , hundreds of hours, good luck hunting all , tg

I seem to find a ton of those when I do half searches from bank boxes, one time I had about almost the entire box those 76s,
