I went back to a spot that I had just recently found. I went there yesterday with bassman and we didn't find much. I found a couple cellar holes yesterday that look very old. Originally I just found the barn foundation. This spot is a large section of woods with stone walls everywhere. It is obvious they where farm fields at one time. One of my first signals was the Connecticut copper. I thought it was a KG till I got it home its pretty thin. I found the ox shoe near the Connecticut copper. Next I popped out the large cent a couple hundred feet away I think its a draped bust from the details that are left. The large cent is pretty well worn. No date visible. I also found a 1900 Indian and a toasted V nickel. The picture with the Indian and nickel in my hand. The smallest item it that photo is a button missing the shank. It is back marked but I can't read it. I also found six memorials and a clad dime at anther spot I tried out. I think this is thefourth time I went to this spot and until today I found there was a few wheat cents. Pictured with the ox shoe is a broken thermometer. Modern trash was dumped into one of the house foundations it might be from that. Happy hunting everyone!!
