    Slim pickings.

A return trip to a place that I have been detecting since 78' exclusively turned up two more wheats.

Slim pickings is much better than nose picking, and it obviously pays better!

Well.. That thing about hunted out ground.. Is only a myth, when you just happen to be able to rip the top layer of soil off with a tractor.

I can put you onto parks in the Royal Oak, Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge and Huntington Woods areas that will produce for you.
I know... Those parks were hammered in the 70's and 80's..by yours truly.
The easy stuff and most of the good stuff filled my pockets decades ago.. But, I know those tiny spots that haven't been hammered.
    I'm an eideteker. It's a curse.
