Lovely day out with a nice dry surface, made the 5 hours gridding much easier. We have now finished our 2nd grid over the best area from 2 directions.
On the way home Cru'dad had a good idea to stop by one of our low list fields (never tried, no intel). The 45 minutes scout would either cross it off the list or raise it up a bit. As I got a tatty hammered after 10 minutes, a Lead Token & a Tudor Button by the end of the hunt it will be well worth gridding, if we get time before the drilling of the Spring Crop.

30 Roman Coins
Roman Hob-Nail
Broken Roman Brooch
Rare 2nd C AD Knee Brooch - Type I have not seen, it's not in any books & NO match on the PAS, closest one is below but mine has a red enamel bar on the top making it very unusual!

Solid Red enamel bar at top, & blue dot/triangles down the middle. It's named after the shape of the knee, so worn at the shoulder.
