Weather has been crazy the last month or so, some days in the mid 70's, the next day in the high 30's and raining.

I did manage to pull out some silvers for the new-ish year!

Bounced around some places in Ft Worth and tapped these out of some well hunted areas.

I think besides the SLQ, my favorite find was this old bottle that was found about 1/2 mile where the original pharmacy was.

Also found a 1930 Buffalo and a 48 Rosie and what I believe to be a shot gun slug with a star on it.

From my research...the SLQ is a Type 1 1917-S.. Whats great is that its dateless, but from all the other details, I was able to Date it!

Happy to have my first 2 Silvers for the year....and not both being damn rosies lol

Its always great to be able to figure out EXACTLY where it came from and what it is. The wild thing was it was just laying there there on top of the ground near the river.

So many good things gets washed up there.

I was hunting with DND when he found the bottle. Of course I had just walked through that spot and missed it! :tongue3:
