Was a way the last few weeks for work and was itching to get back out, then a nice 3 day run of sickness set in and I was locked down to the house. Finally felt human again today and just had to get out as the weather was so nice.
I went in with managed (low) expectations as I had been hearing how bleak it was. The beach didn't look all that great and there was a front end loader moving all the clean wind-blown sand from the upper beach and pushing it onto the slope (great eh?) I stayed as close to the water as possible for most of the hunt. The ring rang up as an 11 on the Equinox and was the second tgt I dug, it was all down hill from there...lol Most of it was junk and not really much of that either.
I wasn't even sure the ring was legit till I got home, saw the stamp and did an acid test on it. 10K 3.4 grams. Found the same one online and even though it's only $60 in scrap they sell for $300! LOL unreal eh?
