My first really GOOD find!! In one hole I found 5 loose nickels (2)1908, (1)1909 and (2)1911. About 2 feet away I got another hit. I dug that spot and around 5" deep I pulled this old tea cup or something up that had coins in it! After the pictures, I removed the coins. There were 7 more nickels! The oldest one being the nicest....an 1883. I also found (2) 1869 Indian Head Pennies in the same field. The picture is of the nicer one of the two.

Excellent - how cool is that!!! Might be a small one, but imho it qualifies as a "cache."

Good job

Awesome first finds and a nice cache in that tea cup. Coins in great shape. Welcome to Tnet. Next time post the reverse side as well so we can see the complete coin.

Wow, does that Indian Head have a date of 1869? Those are fairly rare. It is listed on PCGS.com as 75 dollars in "good" condition. And I would say that it is in Good condition and has the "Brown" color needed
