Been a good long while, got my new T2 in the mail today, decided to give them another chance after a bad experience several years ago. At any rate, too kit out for a couple hours this evening before dark and found a few neat things, dug some really deep signals but the best stuff seemed to be 5-6" down.

Finds of note were:
1907 indian head
sterling spoon weighing in at 1 oz
1932 dog liscense
a brass bell
a lead or pewter marine

I also found some shotgun shell rims, assorted brass and copper bits, some iron, and what appears to be the workings of an old clock about a 3" square box with a whole heap of gears and such.

I always thought they were tombac based on how they come out of the ground? I love finding bells.

Nice finds. I really hope to find one of those lead toy soldiers. The fact that yours still has paint on it is a bonus! Congrats! .. and the IHP? That's a day maker for me!
