Nice hunt Jeff I was never a bottle hunter until tnet or buttons for that matter I am now I've ran into a couple while detecting and was surprised at all the cool stuff in addition to bottles. Those are some nice relics and many resell well also. Well done looks like you have some great looking hunting spots. Tommy

One good corker makes an outing worth it to me anymore!
Congrats.

Used to hunt the old coach trails as a kid.
Those and other bottles are long gone now. Sigh.

Still , I have a couple around more recently recovered.
One single uncovered by deer climbing a slope led to a detecting spot....

What an opportunity! "Treasure" Did you pick up that old ''Old Spice'' Bottle. You can also tell if those ''milk'' colored glass is old if you hold it up to a bright light and you can see an opalesence (A tinge of red) in it. I bet that the white glass one will show that opalesence.

Those bring back some fond memories. I used to find time for digging bottles. Still have quite a few! Just as much fun as detecting coins!

Nice!

Jeff, Well Done on some very nice bottles and glass. Looks like you have a nice site, and local too. No telling what might be brought up next. Best of luck to you.

As to the Old Spice bottle, the new containers are plastic. And, as for the crack, apply some Super glue to the crack area and let it dry. That will help keep it from cracking more, somewhat.
