I went back to Kings Highway where the British camped after the Battle of Monmouth. GW was here too. Found another round ball that looks fired. The highway is now lined with houses except for a small orchard that is township property. Also found the 1952 D quarter and a 1940 wheat.
The ball is 17 grams and 54.10 by 59.85 inches. It has a different patina than the bigger ball I found here a couple of months ago. I'm telling myself that the small ball is Continental and the big one British.
