Mostly Relics with a Bit of Silver

Hello All. Dug most of these items at a circa 1900 home site, also dug a 19-teens RR station and two other home sites of unknown vintage. All are long gone now but continue to yield finds of interest.

Got the usual ammo, clad, toys, misc hardware, etc. along with a nice brass thimble, cool door hinge, some older Wheaties, an IHC, and what I think is a very old silver fork. Also dug up a cast iron toy gun that is gonna need some work, a .41 caliber pistol casing, and a strange brass pin.

BTW great time of year to be hunting down here...the bugs, humidity, and heat are not relentless yet and the diggin' is easy.

Hello DnV. Yes, busy all right...that is four after work hunts in the last 10 days or so...nice to have good spot right on your way home.

Yup weather is good, days are long, and the diggin' is easy.
