That is a cool trappers tag. I'm assuming the 1929 is the year or is it an issue number?

It looks like a .50 caliber brass to me, given the size of the dime.
I have a box of them here someplace that I got from the Nat'l Guard camp up north (they make good "tenor" guitar slides if you have skinny fingers).

Measure the opening where the bullet was. Should be half an inch inside diameter, approximately.

eazy 1942 made 50 cal machine gun round used in airplanes and on top of tanks and in pillboxes --it was made in the twin cities plant --- thus the "42" and the "TW" markings -- often carried around by farm boys impressed bty their size to show the folks --how big them guns are -- commonly found near old gunnery ranges too
