For 29 years I detected, and found over 1,000 silver's, but, never a Spanish Real or Reale's… I started hunting older places off an 1850 map, and it helped... Today, I found a super worn real at the same spot I found a 1 Real last week... Can someone help me with identification of real diameter sizes ?

I was told the 1st one was a 1/2 real , but, not sure on the 2nd one...

If it just has a .R. are they all 1/2 real ?, until you see the .1R. for 1 Real

Basssman,

I would refer you to an excellent website for coin identification called "www.Numista.com", where you can find info on almost any coin, or, like this site, you can find someone who can help.

Good luck!

The first one is the oldest, a pillar style made in Mexico City. The others are later. Nice stuff.

Absolutely filthy. You’re an animal bass. Now that you’ve got the Spanish flu you can’t shake it. Nicely done!
