Man it's been a while! The ground is thawed almost everywhere now finally, so I fired up the Deus and headed to a farm field. There's an old house still standing, and I discovered an old map that placed a school on the corner of the field. Nothing remains of the school, but there's a lot of broken glass etc in the area. Only thing I found there was the Canada button with the crown. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1555369359.311805.jpg

Headed back to the house area and found two IH cents, 1887 and 1903, and later the little sterling ring with the 10k front piece. That was enough for me to call the day a success. Then my friend Amy messaged me and said her hubby had lost his wedding ring at the play park when he was there with the kids on Saturday. The funny part is he lost the very same ring a few years ago in the dead of winter, and I found it for him in the snow, and suggested he have it resized. Then the next year they were on a trip in the Caribbean, he lost the ring in the ocean! Luckily a local guy with a detector was able to find it. Now today I found it for him again! I told her that next time I'm keeping it lol. Five minutes later I found another ring. It's a junker friendship ring. Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Looks like you had a good day. Your friend needs to get his own metal detector. Sounds like the way he looses his ring that he could use one.

Keep swingin.
